You place the elbow in the pocket of the sling and run the neck strap over the back to the opposite shoulder. The hook-and-loop closures let you adjust the fit with one hand. The built-in thumb loop keeps the hand in the correct position and prevents the arm from sliding forward. The material is non-stretch foam that gives secure positioning without being heavy.
