Andersen Stair-Climbing Wheel 3×13 cm Wheel Star — a wheel star with three 13 cm rubber wheels that roll around a star-shaped hub. The construction lets you roll the trolley up and down stairs without carrying it.
How the stair-climbing wheel star works
The star shape means that when the trolley meets a step, the next wheel rolls forward and lifts over the edge in a smooth rolling motion. The wheels mount around a central hub with a 10 mm axle diameter, and the whole unit also clicks easily on and off the trolley at wheel changes. On normal flat ground the wheels also work as a regular three-wheel set.
The 13 cm rubber wheels give a quiet ride on indoor floors and also grip well on outdoor surfaces. The wheel star comes singly so you can replace one side at a time when needed.
