About Breas Z1 Auto Extra Battery
Breas Z1 Auto extra battery – a lithium-ion pack for the PowerShell module that gives 8 to 9 hours of run time and is FAA-approved to RTCA DO-160G for the flight.
How the battery works
You slot the extra battery into your Z1 PowerShell module and end up with a complete battery-driven CPAP. The pack holds twice the capacity of the original and runs 8 to 9 hours even at the highest settings (20 cmH2O, Z-Breathe 3). At lower pressures you get longer still.
The lithium-ion pack weighs 440 g and holds 99.4 Wh. You also charge it inside the PowerShell module whenever you connect the mains supply, so there is no separate charger to carry.
