HemiSafe shoulder orthosis – a soft support from Camp Scandinavia made for hemiplegia after a stroke, which holds the shoulder joint to ease pain and lower the risk of subluxation, that is a partial dislocation of the joint from its normal position.

Anatomical fit in a breathable fabric

The anatomical shape supports the shoulder joint while still leaving room for movement during everyday activity. The fabric breathes, so the orthosis stays kind to the skin even when you wear it for long stretches. The adjustable straps that run round the body are wide and soft, which keeps them from chafing or pressing.

When you want more abduction — the arm held further out from the body — use the cushion supplied. You place it in the armpit, where it lifts the arm and gives the shoulder joint more support.
