Camp Scandinavia HemiSafe Shoulder Orthosis is a soft and comfortable shoulder orthosis designed for use with hemiplegia, which is paralysis on one side of the body after a stroke. The orthosis is designed to reduce pain in the shoulder joint and reduce the risk of subluxation, which is partial dislocation of the shoulder joint from its normal position.

HemiSafe has an anatomical fit and provides support for the shoulder joint while allowing mobility during daily activity. It is made from a breathable material and has adjustable straps around the body that are wide and soft to avoid chafing. When increased abduction (outward movement of the arm) is desired, the included cushion can be used. The cushion is then placed in the armpit to provide increased support.

The orthosis is designed to be easy to put on and take off with just one hand.
