How the ferrule works
You push the ferrule onto the end profile of the cane until it seats. The patterned sole bites on asphalt, tiles and wooden floors, and the textured surface stops it sliding even when the ground is wet. Measure the outside diameter of the cane tube with a tape before you order, because the two sizes are not interchangeable. Rubber also spares the floor from the marks a bare tube leaves.
