A cane tip in five sizes
The Type A has a straight cylindrical profile. You measure the shaft just above the old tip and choose 13, 16, 19, 22 or 25 mm to match, then push the new tip on over the end of the cane — no tools and nothing to screw. The rubber grips on hard surfaces such as wooden floors and pavements.
A tip that has worn smooth is the usual reason a cane starts to slip, especially on wet ground, so it is worth replacing before the tread disappears altogether. If you want a wider base than the Type A gives, the Type C is the broader model.
