eFOLDi portable air pump — a cordless compressor with a digital gauge that you set to a target pressure and leave: AUTO-OFF stops it when the tyre is there, and it weighs 520 grams.

You choose the unit — PSI, BAR, kPa or kg/cm² — set the target pressure on the display and press start. The pump reads the pressure in real time and shuts off by itself when it reaches the figure, so tyre pressure stops being a matter of squeezing the tyre and guessing. Getting it right matters more on a scooter than on a bike: an under-inflated tyre drags on the battery and shortens the range.

The battery is rechargeable over USB, so nothing has to be plugged into a wall or a cigarette lighter while you work. A built-in LED lights the valve in the dark, and the body is small enough to live in the scooter’s storage compartment. It fits eFOLDi tyres without an adapter, and the standard valve fitting also covers bicycle tyres and other inner tubes.

Who is it for?

The pump is for you if you own an eFOLDi Explorer — which has air tyres as standard — or an eFOLDi Lite with the air tyre option, and want to check the pressure yourself rather than book it in.
