Electrical care bed DREAM-TIM — a rehabilitation bed with four powered sections, a nine-function handset and a height range from 38.6 to 80.6 cm, in a light sonoma oak finish with side rails and a lifting pole included.

The handset drives four sections independently: head and torso, upper leg and lower leg, plus the whole platform up and down. You can also set the bed into anti-Trendelenburg, tilting the head end up by 0 to 12 degrees, and raise the backrest anywhere from 0 to 72 degrees for reading or eating. German Dewert motors handle the movement, so the bed stops exactly where you release the button.

The frame is powder-coated steel and the side rails carry silicone-covered grab handles, which give something to hold on to and stop a sleeper rolling out. Four braked castors let you move the bed for cleaning or care and lock it in place again. Electrically the bed runs on 24 V low voltage with IPX4 splash protection.

Who is it for?

The bed is for someone who is cared for at home and can no longer sit up or lie down unaided — after an operation, during a long illness or as mobility declines with age. It also saves the carer’s back, because the whole platform rises to working height. The bed comes apart for transport and moves on its castors.
