You roll the stocking over the long pale grey fabric sleeve, place it on the floor and put your foot into the opening. When you then pull the two sturdy handles, the stocking follows up over the foot and calf without you bending forward. It works for support stockings, compression stockings and regular socks, and also makes the job easier for relatives and care staff.
The reinforced handles also cope with the high friction needed to pull a tight compression stocking up the leg, and you machine wash the aid when needed.
