The Immedia AutoTurn swivel plate facilitates getting in and out of the car. The low friction helps the user to rotate and change seating position in the car seat, which reduces strain on knees, hips, and back. AutoTurn is securely attached around the seat back using a belt and locking buckle. The practical handles on the sides can be used to help the user get into the correct position.

Intended Use

AutoTurn is specially designed for use with car seats to simplify entry and exit. The two nylon sides are placed against each other to reduce friction when turning. The underside of the AutoTurn cushion has a non-slip surface that ensures the device remains stable on the seat. The Immedia AutoTurn swivel plate is attached to the seat back and has a functional handle that the assistant can use to position the user correctly on the car seat.

• Place the AutoTurn centrally on the car seat
• Pass the strap over the seat back, tighten and secure properly
• Attach the function lock system (next to the function handle) to the safety belt
• When the user turns in the seat, the belt automatically slides forward slightly

Usage

• The safety belt can be attached to the opposite side using the function lock system
• The user sits in the middle of the AutoTurn
• The user then lifts both legs simultaneously or one leg at a time into the vehicle
• The body naturally turns inward into the car (AutoTurn is also excellent for turning the user inside the vehicle)
• This minimizes strain on the body
• The assistant can pull on the function handle to help the user slide into place
• When exiting, the user lifts their legs out of the car
