How a swivel works on your CPAP mask
The connector sits between the mask and the tube and turns freely, so the tube does not wind itself up as you move in your sleep — the pull that follows is what breaks the seal and wakes you. Change it when you find cracks, discolouration or a leak at the joint. The clear housing has a blue sealing ring at the top and two grip recesses at the sides, so you can twist it off with cold fingers.
