About Gula Rehab Disco-Sit Balance Plate
Gula Rehab Disco-Sit balance plate – an air-filled cushion you inflate yourself for balance work and rehab, and that doubles as active sitting on an office chair through the working day.
Training balance and foot muscles
The nubs on the top give you a secure footing as you train. You can stand on the plate to challenge your stability, or use it as support during floor exercises. Because it is air-filled you set the firmness yourself — less air makes the surface softer and the balance harder. The cushion takes a load of up to 120 kg and measures 39 cm across.
An active seat for the office and the home
The same plate works as a seat cushion on an office chair. Sitting on it brings the core muscles into play, because the body keeps making small corrections. You get a more active posture without having to think about it, and the movement counters the stiffness that comes with sitting still for hours.
Benefits of the Disco-Sit

Who is it for?
The plate suits you who want to train balance and foot muscles at home, at the gym or with a physiotherapist. It also suits a desk job, since the cushion keeps the muscles working while you sit. If you are older, the activity guidelines for older adults on the NHS recommend balance work at least twice a week to guard against falls. You inflate the plate with your mouth or a plug-valve pump to the firmness you want. See more training equipment and exercise and training in our range.
