About Mediroyal Hallux Valgus Band
Mediroyal hallux valgus band – an elastic hook-and-loop band that loops over the big toe and fastens around the heel, so the stretch draws the toe towards a straighter angle at every step.
An elastic band that works as you walk
The band is made from an elastic hook-and-loop material you fit to your own foot. You put the loop around the big toe, then draw the band either around the heel or one more turn around the ankle. The stretch works the abductor and adductor muscles, which can slow the development of hallux valgus and add movement in the joint of the big toe.
It works best while you are active, since every step helps draw the toe out. You can wear it at night as well, though the effect is smaller while the muscles rest. If you wear it inside shoes, pick shoes with enough room so nothing presses against the foot.

How you fit it
Put the loop over the big toe and draw the band around the heel. You can take it one more turn around the ankle for extra hold. Do not pull it tight — the toe should lie straight without being forced. The hook-and-loop surface lets you adjust the tension at any point.
