The Medisox Compression Stocking Trend Silje is an elegant support stocking for everyday wear and special occasions with a fine lace pattern. A stocking manufactured with material that prevents bacterial growth. The stocking has an excellent fit with Y-heel and plenty of room for toes. The stockings are CE marked and registered with the Medical Products Agency with compression class 1. The compression ends in the middle of the foot.

Usage

Medical compression stockings help reduce swelling and pain in legs and feet. Compression stockings also reduce the risk of:

• Varicose veins
• Leg ulcers
• Blood clots

If you have a sedentary lifestyle or spend long periods standing, always use support stockings. Put on your support stockings right when you wake up and take them off before bedtime. You should not sleep with the stockings on.

Choose the Right Stocking Size

Body height, leg length, and foot length are proportional for most people, so usually it’s sufficient to choose stockings based on shoe size. If you’re tall but have small feet, you should go up one size so the stocking isn’t too short. This also applies if you have thicker ankles and calves.

When/if you measure your ankle and calf, do it in the morning before legs start to swell. If the measurements aren’t exact, it’s not too critical. The main thing is that the stocking lengths fit your leg.
A support stocking should end approximately two finger widths below the knee crease. If the stocking is too long, never fold down the shaft; instead, gather the excess material on the leg.

Washing Instructions

To achieve maximum durability, the stocking should be washed after each use. This restores the stocking’s elasticity and thus maintains good pressure. The stocking can be machine washed at 40 degrees, spin-dried, and line-dried.
