You connect the battery to your Philips DreamStation with the supplied device cable, so you no longer depend on a wall socket. It works well for camping, day trips and hotel stays, and it also serves as backup power at home. Because the UPS function takes over the moment the mains supply drops, you keep breathing normally without waking up.

One charge lasts about 14 hours if you run your machine without a humidifier, or about 7 hours with the humidifier switched on. You recharge the battery in roughly 3 to 4 hours. It weighs 1.02 kg and travels in the padded case that comes with it, together with the cable and adapters.

The battery also meets the FAA requirements for air travel. Contact your airline before departure, however, since the rules for lithium batteries in cabin baggage differ between carriers.
