How the disposable CPAP filter works
The filter sits at the air inlet of the DreamStation machine and captures fine dust particles before the air enters your airways. It also reduces the dust load on the inside of the machine, which therefore lengthens the lifetime of the CPAP overall. You replace the filter every six months or when it shows visible dirt.
The blue plastic frame fits the first-generation Philips DreamStation directly without tools, while the white ultrafine filter material captures the small particles the standard filter passes through.
