The screen is a PMMA Fresnel lens measuring 240 × 170 mm, which is wide enough to cover a whole book page — you read straight through it instead of tracking a small glass across the text. Fresnel construction keeps the lens 2 mm thin and light despite that area. Fifty white LEDs sit around the rim and light the page evenly, so the screen works after dark and in a dim corner, and a rotating dial sets the brightness anywhere you like.

The base measures 270 × 200 mm in ABS with a silicone underside that grips a table or a worktop, and the gooseneck arm bends to whatever height and angle you need. You can turn the lens between landscape and portrait, and lift it off the arm with one touch to use it as a handheld magnifier. The built-in battery charges over the supplied USB-C cable in about three hours and runs for ten hours on the low light setting or three and a half on high, so nothing has to be near a socket.
