ResMed AirFit F30i full face mask — an under-the-nose cushion design where the elbow rotates a full 360 degrees and magnetic clips on the headgear make the mask quick to put on.

Under-the-nose cushion design with the tube on top

With the air tube placed at the crown you can turn 360 degrees without the tube getting in the way, and you sleep in whatever position you prefer. The tube also has a quick-release connector, so you can disconnect without taking the mask off if you need to get up at night. The cushion sits under the nose rather than over the bridge, which is why you avoid red marks and chafing there, and the open field of view lets you read or watch television with the mask on.

Who does it suit?

The F30i suits you who want a full face mask with the tube on top for maximum freedom of movement during CPAP treatment of obstructive sleep apnoea. It is particularly suitable if you move a lot in your sleep, or if you want to sleep on your front without the tube getting in the way. Choosing the right size

First you choose the frame that goes around the head, in Small, Standard or Large. Then you choose the cushion that meets the face, in Small, Medium or Wide. If you want a different combination from the one in the starter kit, you buy the cushion separately.

Warning — the mask contains magnets

Warning: some medical devices can be affected by magnetic fields. Talk to your doctor before you use this mask if you use another medical device. The magnetic clips must stay at least 15 cm from any active medical device, and that applies with particular care to implants such as pacemakers, defibrillators and cochlear implants.
