ResMed cushion AirFit F40 – a silicone spare part for a full face mask that sits below the nose instead of over it, so you keep an open field of view through the night.
Under-nose silicone seal
Unlike a traditional full face cushion that covers both the nose and the mouth, this one rests under the nose alone. You keep a clear line of sight downwards, which helps if you read or watch television before you fall asleep, and the mask feels less enclosing. The silicone is soft and follows the contours of the face, so it seals with very little pressure, and the whole part weighs 24.2 grams.
The material is free from latex, PVC, DEHP and phthalates. If you find tears, discolouration, cracks or other damage on the cushion, discard it and fit a new one.
