With the option to carry an extra battery, you can extend your journey up to 24 kilometers. Additionally, you have the freedom to choose between five different accent colors, adding an extra touch of elegance and personality to your journey if you choose to apply them.

Transport

When folded, the Q50 R Carbon becomes a compact companion that fits easily in most spaces. Whether traveling by train, plane, or car, it’s an ideal companion for your adventures when exploring new destinations. Once folded, you can secure the wheelchair with a transport strap for safe lifting and transport.

Removable Lithium Battery

Each battery weighs only 1.4 kg, and with its dedicated charging port, it’s easy to remove the battery and charge it separately from the power wheelchair, though charging while attached is equally convenient. One battery takes you up to 12 km, and if you need to extend the range, you can purchase an additional battery using the extra battery slot to achieve 24 km per charge.

Visibility

The Q50 R Carbon is equipped with lighting that activates when your wheelchair is in motion, increasing your visibility and making others aware of your presence.

The ultra-light backrest upholstery isn’t just comfortable; it also features a breathable cover that keeps you dry and cool on longer journeys. A comfortable 300 mm foam cushion makes it extra comfortable to sit even during extended rides.

The armrests on the Q50 R Carbon can be flipped up to make transfers in and out of the wheelchair easier. By lifting the center-mounted footrest, you gain more space and can also perform standing transfers.

Flying with Q50 R Carbon

The Q50 R Carbon’s lithium-ion battery is IATA-approved* (International Air Transport Association) for air transport. However, always verify this with your specific airline to ensure approval.
