Alternating air mattress with pump unit
The mattress lays on top of an existing bed mattress and connects to the pump unit by an air hose. The pump cycles air between cell groups so the pressure point shifts in a slow alternating pattern, which reduces the static pressure on any single area of the skin. A CPR quick-release lets staff deflate the mattress instantly in an emergency.
