Five locking positions for the angle you want
A catch in the base of the frame sets the backrest at five different heights, each with a clear notch that holds the angle steady once you let go. Choose a shallow angle to read or watch something, or a steeper one to eat a meal in bed. You lift the frame with one hand and move the catch with the other, so you can change the angle without getting out of bed.
The panel is a grey fabric sling on a white steel frame, and the padded head cushion at the top comes off for washing. The whole backrest folds down to 10 cm, flat enough to slide under the bed or behind a wardrobe door between uses.
