The round head holds rotating balls that spread the lotion evenly across the skin as you move the applicator. The long ergonomic handle also lets you reach the middle of the back without bending the shoulder, and the small loop at the handle end also lets you hang the applicator in the bathroom for drying.

The replaceable sponge holds the lotion before transfer to the balls, and you swap to a fresh refill sponge when the old one wears out.
