Bend the stem to your own movement

The bowl sits on a metal stem you bend to whatever angle suits your hand, so the spoon reaches the mouth without the wrist having to do the turning. That is the point: when the wrist will not rotate, an ordinary spoon tips its contents before it arrives.

The handle is wide and deeply ribbed in a non-slip material, which means you can hold it in a closed fist rather than pinching it between finger and thumb — no fine motor control needed. It grips even with wet hands, and there is a loop at the base for a strap or a hook.

The bowl is stainless steel and the whole spoon goes in the dishwasher up to 65 °C.
