Vitility suction grab bar, 49 cm — a portable stainless steel handle held by two vacuum cups with colour indicators, fitted to smooth tile in seconds and moved again just as fast.

Fitted in seconds, no drilling

You place the bar against a smooth, non-porous surface — tile or an enamelled bath wall — and press the two levers down. Each cup carries a colour indicator: green means the vacuum is holding, red means it is not and the bar has to be reseated. Check both before you put any weight on it, and check again each time you use it.

Because nothing is drilled, the bar moves with you: from the shower to the bath, or into a bag for a hotel room or a holiday flat. The grip is stainless steel with a textured TPR surface that stays secure with wet hands, and the whole thing goes in the dishwasher.

Important limitation

This bar is for steadying yourself, not for taking your full body weight. A suction fitting cannot be relied on the way a screwed one can, and it should not be used as the sole support for transferring in or out of a bath. If you need something to pull up on, fit a screwed handle instead.
