A tilting surface and a fixed one, side by side

The larger surface, about 60 × 38 cm, tilts to a reading angle, which takes the strain off the neck and the eyes when you read or use a tablet in bed. The smaller fixed section, about 18 × 38 cm, stays flat — that is where the cup, the phone or the remote goes, so tilting the reading side does not send a drink across the bedding. The top is finished in walnut-coloured wood with a black edge.

You set the height anywhere from 70 to 111 cm with the spring mechanism, which the manufacturer has tested through more than 2,000 adjustments. The U-shaped base slides in under a bed or a chair rather than butting up against it, and the four castors brake so the table stays where you put it. It takes up to 25 kg and weighs 8.5 kg.
