Yuwell YT-1 infrared forehead thermometer — a non-contact thermometer that gives you a reading in about one second. You point it at the forehead from no more than 5 cm and press the button, and the display shows the temperature straight away.

Non-contact forehead thermometer with a fever alarm

Measuring without touching the skin lowers the risk of passing an infection between people. When the temperature goes above 37.6 °C the thermometer sounds a triple beep and the display turns yellow to warn you, which makes it useful both at home and in a care setting.

How you use it

Point the sensor at the middle of the forehead from 0–5 cm away, press the measuring button and wait about a second. If you hold it too far away the display shows “0-5” to remind you to come closer. For the most reliable result, avoid measuring straight after a bath, exercise or a meal — wait 30 minutes so the body settles.
