Yuwell SDP-330 TENS device — a small rechargeable unit with three treatment modes and nine intensity steps that eases muscle pain with electrical impulses, and shuts itself off after 15 minutes.

How the SDP-330 works

The unit sends weak electrical currents through the electrodes and stimulates the nerves under the skin. That does two things at once: it triggers the body’s own pain-relief response and it interferes with the pain signals on their way to the brain. You choose between three modes — knock, press and knead — and set the intensity across nine steps until you find the level that works.

It runs on a rechargeable battery over USB, good for around 300 treatments between the charger and the socket, and the automatic cut-off at 15 minutes stops a session running longer than it should. The device is small enough to travel with, and the four electrodes are washable and last around 300 uses.
