Yuwell E1 adjustable aluminium wheelchair — a chair with a sprung front fork that folds to 31 cm width and takes a 120 kg max load, so you set the seat depth, seat height and backrest angle to your own body. It therefore works equally well at home and on a trip.

Folding chair with sprung front fork

The suspension in the front fork softens the ride over thresholds, cobbles and other uneven ground. The frame folds and the 24-inch rear wheels come off with the quick release, which brings the chair down to 31 cm across for the boot of a car or a wardrobe. Two anti-tip wheels at the back stop the chair tipping backwards, and the aluminium frame has a hardening lacquer that resists scratches.

Adjust the chair to your body

You change the seat depth and the seat height, so the chair fits whatever your build. The backrest angle also adjusts, which helps you find the right support when you sit for longer. You raise or lower the armrests or take them off completely, while the footrests swing to the side so you get in and out more easily.
