Etac Immedia SatinSheet 2D Midi — a slide sheet with a satin panel down the middle that takes the effort out of moving and turning a user, and friction sides at the bed edge that give support when sitting up.

Satin surface and higher-grip sides

The SatinSheet 2Direction has a glide surface of 60 by 140 cm running down the centre of the sheet, which in the Midi version covers both the hip and the shoulder area. The polyester satin slips against itself with very little resistance, so a turn takes far less force than it would on an ordinary sheet. The outer panels are woven in a cotton and polyester blend with a higher grip, and they hold you steady when you sit on the edge of the bed.

The sheet measures 200 by 140 cm and you tuck the edges in under the mattress, which fixes it in place and lets it stay in the bed as a made-up sheet. It suits mattresses between 80 and 90 cm wide. The fabric goes in the wash, and the maximum user weight is 200 kg.
