Etac Immedia SatinSheet 2D Midi reduces friction between the user and the mattress when carers reposition the user — up, down or to either side. The 2D version slides in two directions (compared with the 4D version that slides in all directions). It is a cost-effective option for routine repositioning that doesn’t need full directional control. Place the sheet under the user before the move and remove it afterwards — the satin surface also reduces carer effort and back strain during repositioning.
