About Gastrock Petite Beech Derby Cane

Gastrock Petite beech derby cane – a handmade solid wood cane with a mini derby handle shaped for smaller hands, stained and given a silk-matt lacquer for everyday walking.

Mini derby handle for smaller hands

The Petite model has a compact derby grip drawn for you with a narrow or small hand. The rounded shape rests naturally in the palm and gives steady support through the step. Gastrock turns the shaft from solid domestic beech, then stains it and lacquers it silk-matt for a warm, natural feel. The German maker has worked by hand since 1868. A rubber ferrule comes fitted and grips well on hard surfaces.

Benefits of the handmade stained cane

  • Mini derby handle drawn for smaller hands
  • Handmade in solid domestic beech
  • Stained and finished in a silk-matt lacquer
  • Rounded derby shape gives steady support in the palm
  • German manufacture by Gastrock since 1868
  • Weighs only 270 g and takes a user weight of 100 kg

Who is it for?

The cane suits you with a narrow or small hand who wants a derby grip that does not feel oversized. The shaft is 94 cm long and the ferrule measures 16 mm, so a standard 16 mm tip fits when it wears down. See more wooden walking canes and walking canes, and read about walking aids on the NHS.
