About INDESmed Opening and Closable Arm Crutch
INDESmed opening and closable arm cuff — the original black cuff for INDESmed crutches, with a closure you switch between open and closed depending on what the situation calls for.
Open or closed, your choice
The cuff works in both positions. Closed, the crutch stays on your arm when you let go of the grip — to open a door, shake a hand or take something out of a pocket. Open, you get more freedom of movement in the arm and can put the crutch down and pick it up without threading your arm through anything.
You can also run one of each: a closed cuff on the side where you need the security and an open one on the side where you want the freedom. The design also allows precise height adjustment, so the cuff sits where it should on the forearm rather than wherever the fixed hole puts it.
