Night Shift Sleep Positioner
Night Shift Sleep Positioner – Treatment for Positional Sleep Apnea
Night Shift Sleep Positioner is a patented, clinically proven treatment for patients with positional obstructive sleep apnea (POSA). This intelligent wearable device trains you to avoid sleeping on your back. Night Shift can be worn comfortably around the neck or on the chest, and through gentle vibrations, it automatically guides you to a side-sleeping position where sleep apnea and snoring are drastically reduced.
Perfect for those who struggle with traditional CPAP treatment and are looking for a simpler alternative without masks and tubes.
Night Shift Sleep Positioner
Night Shift Sleep Positioner is small, lightweight, and quiet – take it with you anywhere, whether you’re traveling to a hotel, going camping, or staying with friends. Detailed reports show how your sleep improves over time, and you can easily share data with your doctor. Night Shift Sleep Positioner can also be combined with a wrist oximeter to screen for POSA or assess the benefits of combination therapy.
Night Shift Sleep Positioner
After you fall asleep in any position, the sleep positioner begins to vibrate gently when you try to sleep on your back. The vibration then gradually increases in intensity until you change position. Night Shift Sleep Positioner is an intelligent, interactive monitor that enables both patients and doctors to track sleep quality and therapeutic effectiveness via the Night Shift app for iOS and Android or through a web-based portal.
Four Simple Steps to Better Sleep:
1. Easy Placement
Wear Night Shift comfortably around your neck or on your chest with the soft, adjustable strap.
2. Smart Vibration Feedback
When you roll onto your back, the device senses your position and begins to vibrate gently. The vibrations gradually increase until you naturally change position – usually without waking up.
3. Fall Asleep Period
You have 15 or 30 minutes to fall asleep in any position before Night Shift activates. Perfect for those who prefer to fall asleep on their back.
4. Monitoring and Reports
Night Shift records your sleep quality, snoring, and how effectively you respond to treatment. Show the reports to your doctor via the web portal or mobile app.
Step-by-Step: Using Night Shift
Adjust the Strap
- The strap should be tight enough not to slide around the neck
- You should be able to place two fingers between the strap and neck without the magnets coming loose
Assembly:
- Thread one end of the strap through the opening on the side of the device. The strap should be threaded from back to front with the ridged side facing outward
- Adjust the length using the numbering on the strap so that both sides are equally long
- Thread the strap back through the retention clip and pull tight so it stays in place. Repeat on the other side
- Place Night Shift in the middle of the neck with the blue label facing up and away from the skin. The power button should be facing down
- Fasten the magnetic locks and tighten both sides evenly
Important: Blue label outward – Power button downward
Once the strap is adjusted and fits comfortably, excess length can be cut off, but leave at least two extra notches for future adjustment.
Warning: Replace the strap if the lock loses magnetism and comes undone during the night.
Scientifically Proven Effectiveness
Night Shift is based on solid research and has been clinically tested with impressive results:
- 70% of sleep apnea patients are significantly worse when sleeping on their back
- 20% would have minimal or no sleep apnea if they avoided back sleeping
Study Results Show:
- 90% reduction in time spent on back
- Improved sleep quality and breathing
- Fewer awakenings during the night

Night Shift is intended for treatment of adult patients with position-dependent obstructive sleep apnea (AHI less than 20 in non-supine position) and to reduce or eliminate snoring. Treatment effectiveness has shown over 50% reduction in AHI in 85% of patients in clinical studies.
