Yuwell Standard CPAP Hose 22 mm

Tout savoir sur Yuwell Standard CPAP Hose 22 mm

Yuwell Standard CPAP Hose 22 mm — a flexible 180 cm hose in medically approved rubber with the universal 22 mm connection, so it fits most CPAP machines.

How the 22 mm hose works

The hose carries the air from your CPAP machine to the mask at a constant pressure. The flexible construction keeps air leaks and pressure losses down, and gives a steady supply through the night. You fit it by pushing it onto the outlet on the machine and onto the mask connector — nothing to screw or clamp. It fits Philips DreamStation 2, ResMed AirSense 10 and the Yuwell YH-550 among others.

Benefits of the standard hose

• Standard 22 mm size for the airflow the machine expects
• 180 cm long, so you can turn over without pulling the mask
• Medically approved rubber
• Fits Philips DreamStation 2, ResMed AirSense 10 and Yuwell YH-550 among others
• Flexible build that keeps pressure losses down
• Rinses clean in mild soapy water

When should you replace the hose?

Change the hose every three to six months for hygiene and function. The signs it is due are cracks, discolouration or a loss of flexibility. Regular cleaning extends its life — rinse it in mild soapy water and let it air-dry completely before the next night. See more CPAP tubes, or read about obstructive sleep apnoea on HSE.ie.
