Vitility Multi Cap Jar and Bottle Opener

Tout savoir sur Vitility Multi Cap Jar and Bottle Opener

Vitility Multi Cap opener – a screw-lid aid with three openings and a ribbed inside that grips the lid, so you turn with the wrist instead of the fingers.

Three openings in one tool

You pick the opening that matches the lid and drop the tool over it — 2.5 cm for a small bottle cap, 3.5 cm for a medium one and 5.5 cm for a jar lid. The ribbed inside bites into the edge of the lid without you having to squeeze, and the outer ring gives a shape you can hold in a whole hand. That is what lets you turn with the wrist rather than pinching with the fingers. The tool weighs 73 grams and lives in a kitchen drawer.

Benefits of the opener

• Three openings in one tool, from a bottle cap to a jar lid
• Ribbed non-slip inside that grips the lid
• Shaped outside for a secure hold with weak hands
• Weighs only 73 grams
• One tool that replaces several

Cleaning and care

Wash the Multi Cap by hand — Vitility advises against the dishwasher. Rinse it under warm water with a little washing-up liquid, dry it and put it back in the drawer. The material takes repeated washing without losing its grip.

Who is it for?

The opener suits you with reduced hand strength who needs help with screw lids, and it also earns its keep as a plain kitchen tool. Read about arthritis on the NHS, and see more kitchen openers in our range.
