Vitility Boot Remover

Tout savoir sur Vitility Boot Remover

Vitility Boot Remover — a step-on boot puller in white plastic that lets you remove shoes without bending, because you clamp the heel in the rubber-lined notch and step the shoe off with your other foot.

Remove shoes without bending or using your hands

You put the plate on the floor and stand on the wide end with one foot. The heel of the other shoe goes into the U-shaped notch, which is lined with black rubber so the heel is gripped rather than scuffed. Pull that foot upwards and the shoe stays behind. The same movement works for boots, and your hands never touch the shoe — useful when it is wet or muddy.

The plate is one piece of plastic with a gently curved profile and an oblong slot at the back end, so you can hang it on a hook in the hall. You wipe it clean with a damp cloth. It works with most footwear, from low shoes and trainers to boots without zips.

Benefits of the step-on heel remover

• Takes shoes and boots off without stooping down
• Your hands stay clean — you never touch the shoe
• Rubber-lined notch grips the heel instead of scratching it
• One-piece plastic, wiped clean with a damp cloth
• Slot at the back end for hanging it in the hall

Who is this for?

The remover suits you if bending down is painful or awkward — after a hip replacement, with back trouble, or simply on the days when balance is not what it was. See more hallway aids, or read about daily living aids on NHS.uk.
