Informazioni su Medistrom Car Charger for Pilot 12 and 24 Lite
Medistrom car charger — a 12 V lead that runs from the car’s cigarette lighter socket and charges your CPAP travel battery in three to four hours, with no mains power anywhere in sight.
Charging away from the mains
You plug the DC lead into the car’s 12 V socket and then into the CHARGE port on your Medistrom travel battery. The battery is full in three to four hours without a wall socket, which is what makes it work for camping, motorhome trips and long drives where there is nowhere to plug in. The DC socket protects against fault current, so voltage swings in the vehicle do not damage the battery.
Benefits of the DC charger
- 12 V cigarette lighter connection — charge straight from the car
- Fits Medistrom travel batteries in the Pilot series
- Charging time of three to four hours from the vehicle socket
- Works for camping and motorhome trips away from the mains
- Protects against fault current at voltage variations
- Weighs 0.2 kg
Who is the charger for?
It suits you travelling with a CPAP who wants to top the Medistrom battery up in the car rather than hunting for a socket. Note: never connect the battery to a CPAP while it is charging from the car charger. See more CPAP accessories, or read about obstructive sleep apnoea on HSE.ie.
