Paraliving UM Medicals Wheelchair Scale

Informazioni su Paraliving UM Medicals Wheelchair Scale

The Paraliving UM Medicals wheelchair scale is a digital scale for wheelchair users that lets you weigh a seated person without them having to stand up. You roll the wheelchair onto the low glass platform and read the weight on the display.

How to weigh someone seated in a wheelchair

You roll the wheelchair onto the platform, which is only 22 mm high, and read the total weight. Then weigh the wheelchair separately, with no one sitting in it, and subtract that figure – this gives you the person’s body weight. The scale measures from 3 up to 180 kg in 100-gram steps and shows both kg and lb, which makes it easy to follow weight without any lifting or transfer.

Key benefits

• Weighs up to 180 kg in 100-gram steps
• Weigh the wheelchair separately and subtract its weight to get the body weight
• Low glass platform (62 × 62 cm, only 22 mm high) – easy to roll onto
• Shows both kg and lb and runs on two AAA batteries (included)
• Switches off automatically after 30 seconds and is CE marked

Who is the wheelchair scale for?

The scale suits care settings and the home, wherever a person in a wheelchair needs to be weighed regularly. It makes it simple to follow weight in a smooth and dignified way. If you use a wheelchair, it also works as a practical aid at home alongside other mobility aids.
