The QuietAir valve disperses exhaled air through micro-holes that diffuse airflow in multiple directions at once, which reduces the jet noise that conventional valves produce. At 21 dBA the valve is essentially inaudible in a normal bedroom environment. Replace the valve regularly as part of your CPAP mask maintenance to keep therapy pressure stable and exhaust noise low.
