You turn the control dial to slide the forehead support closer to or further from the forehead, which gives the right distance and seal around the face through the whole night. The same spare also fits the Mirage Quattro full face mask and the Mirage SoftGel, Mirage Micro and Activa LT nasal masks. If the dial has become stiff, cracked or no longer holds its setting you swap it yourself without tools — you click off the old and press on the new in seconds.
