Jobst UltraSheer compression socks — knee-high socks knitted from fine sheer yarn that look like ordinary hosiery, with graduated class 1 compression of 15–20 mmHg that works against tired, swollen legs.

Sheer knee-high socks in fine yarn

The knit uses a fine yarn that gives the sock a soft sheen and a see-through finish, so it passes for ordinary hosiery under a skirt or a dress. The compression is graduated: it is firmest at the ankle and eases up the calf, which is the pattern that helps the blood on its way back up the leg. A comfort band at the top holds the sock in place through the day without cutting a mark into the skin.

Care

Machine wash at 40 °C with a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener and do not tumble dry — both break down the elastic fibres that carry the compression.
