Om Breas Z1 Auto Extra Battery
Breas Z1 Auto extra battery – a lithium-ion pack for the PowerShell module that gives 8 to 9 hours of run time and is FAA-approved to RTCA DO-160G for the flight.
How the battery works
You slot the extra battery into your Z1 PowerShell module and end up with a complete battery-driven CPAP. The pack holds twice the capacity of the original and runs 8 to 9 hours even at the highest settings (20 cmH2O, Z-Breathe 3). At lower pressures you get longer still.
The lithium-ion pack weighs 440 g and holds 99.4 Wh. You also charge it inside the PowerShell module whenever you connect the mains supply, so there is no separate charger to carry.
Benefits of the extra battery
- 8 to 9 hours of run time at 20 cmH2O — enough for a full night
- 99.4 Wh — twice the capacity of the original battery
- FAA-approved to RTCA DO-160G, so it goes on board the aircraft
- About 300 charge cycles for regular use
- Charges inside the PowerShell module from the mains
- Six-month warranty
Who is it for?
