Yuwell YT-1 infrared forehead thermometer — a non-contact thermometer that gives you a reading in about one second. You point it at the forehead from no more than 5 cm and press the button, and the display shows the temperature straight away.

Measuring without touching the skin lowers the risk of passing an infection between people. When the temperature goes above 37.6 °C the thermometer sounds a triple beep and the display turns yellow to warn you, which makes it useful both at home and in a care setting.

How you use it
Point the sensor at the middle of the forehead from 0–5 cm away, press the measuring button and wait about a second. If you hold it too far away the display shows „0-5“ to remind you to come closer. For the most reliable result, avoid measuring straight after a bath, exercise or a meal — wait 30 minutes so the body settles.
