Vitility Ergonomic Peeler

Tietoa tuotteesta Vitility Ergonomic Peeler

Vitility ergonomic peeler – a kitchen tool whose rotating blade follows the shape of the vegetable and asks for minimal wrist and elbow movement, on a non-slip handle you can hold at reduced hand strength.

A peeler for a weaker grip

The blade turns with the surface of the vegetable, so you simply hold the handle steady while the blade takes the skin off in thin, even strips. That technique puts far less load on the fingers and the joints than a fixed peeler does.

Benefits of the rotary peeler

• Rotating blade that follows potatoes, carrots and other fruit and veg
• Soft non-slip handle, 2.5–3 cm across, that gives a secure hold
• Light at 85 g, so the hand does not tire during a long prep
• Asks for minimal movement in the elbow and the wrist
• Also suits you with arthritis or weak hands

Looking after the peeler

Rinse the blade under running water straight after use, then wipe the handle with a damp cloth. The peeler does not go in the dishwasher, and it should not soak for long either. The soft handle keeps its non-slip surface best if you store it dry.

Who is it for?

It suits you with reduced hand strength, arthritis or rheumatoid arthritis who still wants to cook independently. The soft grip means you can peel vegetables without the hand slipping. See more kitchen aids and dining aids in our range.
