Over Classic Canes Rubber Tip Type D
Classic Canes Rubber Tip Type D — a hard-wearing rubber cane tip built for daily use. Type D works indoors and out, and the underside carries concentric circles that bite into the ground. It comes in four sizes to match different cane diameters.
When should you replace the tip?
A worn tip goes smooth and grips less, which raises the risk of slipping. Check yours regularly and change it once the rubber has worn down or the pattern on the underside is no longer clearly visible.
Benefits of the Type D tip
- Rubber cane tip built for daily use
- Hard-wearing rubber compound for a long life
- Concentric circles on the underside for grip
- Straight sides that flare out at the bottom for a stable footprint
- Works equally well indoors and outdoors
- Four sizes: 13, 16, 19 and 22 mm
Which size do you need?
Measure the diameter of the lower end of your cane to pick the right size. If you are not sure, pull the old tip off and measure the hole. See more cane tips, or read about walking aids and wheelchairs on NHS.uk.
