Etac Hi-Loo Angled Toilet Raiser

Over Etac Hi-Loo Angled Toilet Raiser

Etac Hi-Loo angled toilet raiser — an ergonomic raiser that tilts the seat forward and raises the seat height by 6 or 10 cm, with fixings included, no tools, and it comes both with and without armrests to suit most toilets.

Angled seat for easier toilet visits

The wedge shape sits 10 cm high at the back and 6 cm at the front, which tips you slightly forward and makes it easier to get up. You fit it on the pan with the fixings that come in the box, and the centre distance between the fixing holes adjusts from 12.8 to 20.2 cm so it matches most toilets. The surface is smooth and wipes clean.

The version with armrests gives you something firm to push against as you stand. It measures 60 cm wide with 49 cm between the armrests, and the opening is 27 cm deep and 19.5 cm wide. The raiser on its own weighs 3 kg, and 5.5 kg with the armrests fitted. It takes a user weight of up to 150 kg.

Benefits of this forward-tilted seat for the WC

• Angled seat that helps when hips and knees move less easily
• Comes in 6 cm and 10 cm raise for different needs
• Steady armrests give extra support as you stand (on the version with armrests)
• Fits without tools — the fixings are in the box
• Hygienic surface that is easy to clean
• Maximum user weight of 150 kg

Who is the raiser for?

The angled Hi-Loo suits you who find it hard to sit down on and get up from the toilet, particularly when the hip or the knee moves less easily. The tilt gives a more natural sitting position and takes some of the load off the joints, which also makes it a sensible choice after a hip or knee operation.

If you would rather have a flat raiser, look at the model with armrests or the 10 cm version with a lid. See more toilet seat raisers in our range, or read about falls on NHS.uk.
