Philips Amara View full face mask — an under-the-nose CPAP mask with an open view that sits under the nose and over the mouth, so nothing presses on the bridge and you keep an open field of view.
Under-the-nose CPAP mask with an open view
Unlike traditional masks the Amara View sits under the nose instead of over the bridge, so you avoid the red marks and irritation that a nose-bridge seal can leave. The open field of view means you can read, watch television and wear your glasses with the mask on. The frame is thin, which keeps the mask light and discreet even though it covers both nose and mouth.

Warning – the mask contains magnets
Do not use the mask if you, or anyone who sleeps close to you, has an active medical implant that can be affected by magnets – for example a pacemaker, implantable defibrillator, neurostimulator, shunt or insulin pump – or metal in the body that contains magnetic material, for example metal splinters in the eye, stents, aneurysm clips or a hearing implant with a magnet. Keep the magnets at least 15 cm away from any implant or medical device that can be affected by magnetic fields. Ask your doctor if you are unsure.
Who does it suit?
The mask suits you with sleep apnoea who want to avoid irritation on the bridge of the nose. It works particularly well if you breathe through your mouth at night or leak air with a nasal mask, and the open view helps if you like to read or watch television before you fall asleep.
