Over ResMed Mirage FX Mask Frame
ResMed Mirage FX mask frame – a clear plastic frame with a click fitting, an original spare part for the Mirage FX nasal mask used in CPAP therapy for sleep apnoea. You replace it yourself when the old one is worn.
Original spare part for the Mirage FX
The frame is made specifically for the Mirage FX, so the cushion sits at the right angle against the face — and it is the angle that decides whether the mask seals. The construction takes daily use and cleaning, and the cushion and headgear click onto the frame without tools.
Benefits of the frame
- Original Mirage FX spare part from ResMed
- Holds the cushion at the right angle against the face
- Cushion and headgear click on without tools
- Takes daily use and cleaning
- Simple to replace yourself when worn
- Keeps the mask sealing and fitting over time

When should you replace it?
How often depends on how you use it. If you find wear, cracks or discolouration, replace it straight away — a frame that has gone brittle stops holding the cushion square, and the leaks start there. Read about obstructive sleep apnoea on HSE.ie, and see more CPAP mask parts in our range.
