Camp Scandinavia Aso Evo Quatro ankle support – an ankle brace with rigid nylon straps that mimic taping, for acute or chronic ankle instability and sprains in sport. It has an extra-low profile and guards against supination and pronation.
Ankle support with nylon straps and CoolFlex
The nylon straps run around the calcaneus and resist inversion and eversion, which is what a taping job does — except this one goes back on the same way every morning. The upper part has a plastic cuff with CoolFlex padding that protects against high ankle sprains, and the Skinloc material holds the brace in place while you move. The material around the midfoot is cut back, so plantar flexion is not restricted and you can still push off.
