About Philips Amara View Full Face Mask
Philips Amara View full face mask — an under-the-nose CPAP mask with an open view that sits under the nose and over the mouth, so nothing presses on the bridge and you keep an open field of view.
Under-the-nose CPAP mask with an open view
Unlike traditional masks the Amara View sits under the nose instead of over the bridge, so you avoid the red marks and irritation that a nose-bridge seal can leave. The open field of view means you can read, watch television and wear your glasses with the mask on. The frame is thin, which keeps the mask light and discreet even though it covers both nose and mouth.
Benefits of the Amara View
- Sits under the nose, so nothing presses on the bridge
- Open field of view, so you can read and wear glasses
- Full face mask for CPAP treatment of sleep apnoea
- Thin, light frame for a comfortable fit
- Three sizes for a closer match to your face
- Runs at 4–20 cm H2O with a sound level of 24.2 dBA
Who does it suit?
The mask suits you with sleep apnoea who want to avoid irritation on the bridge of the nose. It works particularly well if you breathe through your mouth at night or leak air with a nasal mask, and the open view helps if you like to read or watch television before you fall asleep. You find more full face masks and other CPAP masks in our range, and you can read about obstructive sleep apnoea on HSE.ie.
